Our strength lies in our network. We work closely with our members, partners, and alliances to drive shared success and deliver value to the industry.

Our members

Our members are the Real Estate Institutes (REIs) across all States and Territories, representing Australian real estate businesses and agents nationally.

Our REIs support real estate agents in their state and region with tailored information, training, products and resources, that lead to greater industry standards and ensure a professional service for the public.

This includes the Code of Conduct, that REI membership requires. These are professional standards that set Institute members apart from other real estate agents.

Our affiliate members

REIA's Affiliate Membership recognises the unique requirements of Australia's major real estate networks. Affiliate Membership is offered by invitation of the REIA Board and includes real time political action and advocacy advice.

A Home For All Foundation

A Home For All Foundation is an industry-led initiative that brings together Australia’s property sector to support Australians experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. The Foundation works to raise awareness, mobilise industry support, and direct funding to charities delivering frontline services—helping ensure more people have access to safe, secure housing.

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ)

REINZ regulate the real estate industry in New Zealand, promote quality, expertise and integrity, protect the general public, train and educate real estate agents, provide advice and services to members and operate the largest independent directory of properties listed for sale in New Zealand.

FIABCI

FIABCI is the Paris-based worldwide network open to all professionals involved with the property industry. FIABCI organises exchange programs enabling students and professionals to learn more about real estate markets and practices at home and abroad.

National Association of Realtors (NAR)

Based in the United States, this is the largest professional real estate association in the world, representing 1.1 million Realtors, engaged in all aspects of the real estate sector. REIA also has a mutually beneficial relationship with the Californian Association of Realtors (CAR).

Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC)

The Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC) is the peak body of key organisations committed to a sustainable built environment in Australia. It provides a forum for diverse groups to gather and intelligently discuss contentious issues as well as advocate their own sustainability products, policies and initiatives.
