The Real Estate Institute of Australia is pleased to announce the 2012 REIA National Awards for Excellence. For the first time in seven years, the event will be held in Darwin on 22 March 2012 at the Darwin Convention Centre.

REIA would love to see you at the national event for the real estate profession and support those who have been nominated as one of the industry's greatest achievers.

Being a tourist destination, REIA felt it was important to provide the opportunity for you and your family to make the most of Darwin and beyond while you are in the top end. Further information will be provided about events being organised to coincide with the national awards but don’t forget to schedule a bit of extra annual leave to coincide with the national awards!

Nominations

The closing date for submissions closed on 25 November 2011. To nominate for the 2013 national awards, you need to be a state or territory winner for 2012. For further information, please contact your state or territory Real Estate Institute.

Tickets

Tickets are now on sale for the 2012 REIA National Awards for Excellence. Ticket prices are ($165.00 incl. GST) for a single ticket and ($1500.00 incl. GST) for a table of ten. Tickets include entry to the awards and a three course meal.

Activities in Darwin

The Real Estate Institute of the Northern Territory (REINT) has been kind enough to organise a range of activities for you to enjoy during your stay in Darwin. For further information, click the link below.

Accommodation

Accommodation can now be booked for the 2012 REIA National Awards for Excellence. REIA has negotiated discounted rates with the Crowne Plaza Darwin, Holiday Inn Darwin and Holiday Inn Esplanade. On the evening of the event, REIA will have buses to transport you from your hotel to the Darwin Convention Centre. To book your accommodation, click the appropriate link below.

Negotiated accommodation prices are as follows:
Crowne Plaza City View Room ($150.00)
Holiday Inn City View Room ($130.00)

Please note: You can choose to add a buffet breakfast to your accommodation for $20.00 per person.

Find your way around

The map below will help you to gain an understanding of where each of the hotels are in relation to the Darwin Convention Centre. Please note: you will not have to walk from your hotel to the venue, a bus will pick you up and drop you off. A transport schedule will be released closer to the event.
